Abstract

A New record of skin beetles, Dermestes frischii Kugelann, 1792 are recorded anddescribed for the first time in Kurdistan Region -Iraq. The analysis of new sets of characterslabrum, mandibles, antenna and male genitalia were found to be helpful in delimitating thespeciesinadditiontothepreviouslyestablisheddiagnosticparamerecharacters.Theimportantparts were photographed, also the localities, hosts and data of collection were given. Thespecimensdeposited in themuseum of CollegeofAgriculture–Salahaddin University.
